Our Data
Stop AAPI Hate operates the nation’s largest reporting center tracking acts of hate against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Drawing from thousands of user-submitted experiences with racism, discrimination, xenophobia, and other forms of bigotry, our data and the stories we collect paint a vivid picture of anti-Asian American and anti-Pacific Islander hate — and provide unique insights into how hate is experienced and reported. Our Research
Stop AAPI Hate conducts research on Asian American and Pacific Islander communities to increase public understanding of who we are, the issues that impact us, and the solutions that move the needle towards racial justice and equity. Our body of work includes internal studies of our data on hate acts as well as external studies that go beyond our dataset.
With support from a growing network of research partners, our coalition takes a closer look into questions like: What is the connection between anti-China rhetoric and anti-Asian hate? How do Asian American and Pacific Islander communities encounter and respond to civil rights violations? What is the impact of racism on the mental health of Asian Americans?
